This was our second time vending at the CRC Pasa Malam. For those who aren't familiar with CRC, it stands for Cham Refugee Community.
The Cham community is a small Muslim community that originally come from the Southeast region of Asia, mainly made of its members that originate from Cham villages spread across Cambodia and Vietnam. Settling in the Seattle area in the late 1970s.
Since 2016, the community has been hosting a community night market event attracting the local Muslim communities and other Cham communites from all over the US. The event happens during a summer weekend that last for two days, starting Friday afternoon to midnight, and restarts Saturday afternoon until midnight again.
